Can I take TAP more than once?

Yes, TAP may be taken twice for credit, though you must enroll in a different track the second time.

How will TAP help me prepare for the job market?

TAP provides hands-on experience with a technology project. You will gain valuable skills in project management, communicating with a client, and working as part of a team. You will also develop new technology skills, and work on presenting your work to a group. Working one-on-one with a faculty member also gives you a great opportunity to build a strong relationship, and potentially a strong reference.

Are there any benefits to being a TAP student?

Yes. As a TAP student you qualify to take workshops that are normally reserved for faculty and staff. You also can use the Instructional Resource Center, the faculty/staff computer lab in Innovation Hall, 427. The IRC has lab assistants available to answer questions, as well as digital cameras (still and video) that you can check out to use for your project.
