Application Deadlines

For full consideration, applications should be submitted by the application deadline. Late applications will be considered on a space-available basis.

Course Contracts

To ensure that both the student and the faculty/staff sponsor get as much out of the TAP experience as possible, the course contract should be thoughtfully drawn up between the two parties, and will act as a governing document for the semester. The TAP administrator will review course contracts, and may ask for changes in order to set up realistic expectations for the semester.

Faculty/Staff and Student Pairs

Faculty/Staff and students who apply to the program are paired by the TAP administrator by matching as closely as possible the interests and skills of the student with the project requirements.

Faculty/Staff who wish to find a student to work with on their own may do so, although the match is subject to approval by the TAP administrator. Faculty may not request to work with a student who will be enrolled in another course with the faculty member that semester.
